This patient suffered from a facial trauma many years ago, which resulted in her front tooth breaking. It meant she struggled to bite into things as she was worried the tooth would snap.
After a few years the tooth needed to be removed as it became infected. Nigel removed the tooth and placed a dental implant and attached a new temporary tooth on the implant all on the same day. This meant the patient didn’t have to have a gap or a removable tooth.
After 3 months Nigel attached a zirconia crown to the implant and our patient can smile and eat with confidence – something she has not been able to do in years!
