Rob has worked at Seaham Smiles since 2015.
Prior experience includes working at James Cook Hospital as a Senior House Officer in maxillofacial surgery and the community dental service. These roles gave him invaluable experience helping patients with additional needs, dental phobias as well as young children.
He especially enjoys providing lifelike private dentures as well as straightening smiles with Invisalign and fixed orthodontics. Presently he is undertaking an 18 month post graduate orthodontic diploma, and he regularly attends postgraduate courses to develop his skills and knowledge.
He divides his clinical time between NHS care and independent dentistry. Many of his patients benefit from being members of our independent practice plan membership scheme or private denplan comprehensive care plans. These schemes both allow a significant amount of extra time to be spent preventing dental disease and providing the highest quality aesthetic dental care.
Outside of the surgery he is on the board of the FGDP(UK) Northern Division, he enjoys cooking, mountain biking and spending time with his 2 young boys and wife.
