Nathan brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Seaham Smiles and has a special interest in minor oral surgeries. Nathan joined our team in April 2024.
After graduating with distinction in clinical dentistry from Newcastle University in 2019, Nathan embarked on a journey of continuous learning and professional development. Following his foundation year in the North East, he honed his skills during a two-year tenure as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
Driven by his commitment to excellence, Nathan pursued further qualifications, completing his Membership with the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2022. Currently pursuing his medical education at Newcastle University, Nathan concurrently serves as a mid-grade practitioner in oral and maxillofacial surgery at both Sunderland Royal and James Cook Hospitals.
Nathan’s expertise encompasses a range of minor oral surgeries which is performing biopsies to be able to jump the NHS queue, alongside extractions of impacted wisdom teeth, among other procedures. His compassionate approach, coupled with his extensive training and experience, ensures that patients receive the highest standard of care.
