Megan qualified from Newcastle Dental School and is originally from Northern Ireland.
She has been based in the North East since graduating and is the newest dentist to join the Seaham Smiles team.
She has a keen interest in facial aesthetics and short term orthodontics, having completed The Botulinum Toxin Club training for anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers, and the Quick Straight Teeth orthodontic course. Being able to provide affordable, short term orthodontics means she can offer her patients more than just routine dentistry. She loves being able to make her patients feel better about themselves. She is always furthering her skills with courses to be able to provide more treatments, and she will be looking to be able to provide further facial aesthetic treatments in the near future.
She particularly enjoys working with anxious patients, and helping to change their view on dentists. So many people have had upsetting experiences in the past and it is always her aim to increase their confidence in dentistry, so that eventually, they will hopefully enjoy coming to see her!
Outside of dentistry, she plays hockey for Newcastle Ladies, she has held coaching roles in the past which she finds has helped me have a great rapport with my younger patients. She also enjoy walking in the Lake District, even if it is raining!
