Seaham Smiles Children Price List

If you are a parent on one of our membership plans and have a child 6 years and under we will see them for complimentary dental health checks and treatment until their 7th birthday.

In the case of items that involve laboratory work (crowns, bridges etc) then 50% will be paid at the preparation appointment with the balance being payable before the work is fitted.

All fees are payable at the time of the appointment. Fees and payment terms will be agreed before treatment commences.

If you can have a fantastic experience visiting your dental practise, this was as good as it gets. I needed a tooth implant following a crown fracture (not fitted at Seaham Smiles) and was referred to Nigel Suggett. Had a wisdom tooth extraction done yesterday and I cannot praise Nathan and Ellie enough. Being an extremely nervous/anxious patient they were so reassuring, friendly and made sure i felt at ease. They didn’t rush things, they took time to make sure I was ok during the procedure and even called me today to check how I was doing. Both Nathan and Ellie are an absolute credit to the team. Can’t rate this practice high enough. From first walking through the door all staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. I was referred to Nigel and his team by my regular dentist, for an extraction and an implant . During my first consultation everything was explained to me , step by step, so I knew exactly what to expect which stopped any worries or concerns. Been going here for over 10 years. Been to a few in the Durham area & none are as good as Seaham Smiles. Rob who is my Dentist is by far the best I’ve had. I used to hate going to the dentists (hate needles) but Rob’s fab and now it’s not an issue. Can’t recommend them enough. If I could give them 6 stars I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have recently had 2 implants with a 3 teeth Bridge fitted by Nigel Suggett. I cannot recommend Nigel and his dental nurse Elisha highly enough. From start to finish Nigel explained each process and I was kept fully informed. The whole process took 13 weeks but it was so worth the wait. I am really pleased with my new teeth and feel much more confident as I am able to eat better, talk better without having the gap in my mouth and more importantly I'm able to smile with confidence 😀 so.... a massive thank you to Nigel and Elisha. Recently I had to arrange an emergency appointment at short notice as I was going away on holiday a few days later and was concerned about the pain I was experiencing due to toothache!I saw Stacey and Michelle who were both fantastic. They showed empathy and a high level of care and concern. Stacey quickly identified that one of my teeth had cracked and asked me to return only an hour later after lunch for further treatment. When I returned she carried out a variety of procedures to fix and treat the problem. This took around 40 minutes. She went above and beyond expectations at such short notice to deal with the matter very efficiently, even though I was an NHS client. She fixed the problem so that I could go away pain free and enjoy my holiday!I will be returning for further treatment and I would l like to thank both Stacey and Michelle for their help. I have been a client since Nigel took over the business from Mr Robson and have always had great care! I can thoroughly recommend Seaham Smiles for all your dental needs and I am now considering moving on to the Dental Care Plan.

Although no one enjoys going to the dentist, Seaham Smiles makes it a much nicer experience. The staff are all friendly and professional.My dentist Dr Robert Hetherington is great, he takes the time to explain each procedure, showing the problem via x-rays or by a detailed explanation and he is meticulous in carrying it out the work. His assistant Jane is also extremely competent. Overall from my experience over the last 5 or so years I can highly recommend them.

Visited Seaham Smiles today for a planned dental treatment-filling of back tooth.Stacey Fenwick - dentist completed the procedure. I was nervous to be having the procedure as it was my first ever local anaesthetic oral injection and I was unsure what to expect during the procedure.Stacey was amazing, from entering the room Stacey put me at easy and explained every step of the procedure. Stacey is professional and friendly and I soon felt at ease.Stacey explained in detail the aftercare and answered all my questions.I would definitely go back to Stacey should I need any further dental work completing.Would highly recommend visiting Seaham Smiles and in particular Stacey.

I can’t recommend implants enough I spent 10+ years with a large gap and didn’t realise how this changes how you eat to your face shape. From the initial consultation with options available to the aftercare has been nothing but five star treatment from Nigel and Elisha. My only regret is that I didn’t do it years ago and I wouldn’t think twice about doing it again.

I had a dental emergency which could not wait. I tried 15 different dentists closer to home before Seaham Smiles went above and beyond to get me in to see a dentist ASAP.I saw Matt who was absolutely brilliant. I had to have an extraction of a broken tooth which came out in several bits but Matt was very calming and kept me at ease throughout. 6 years ago we joined this practice as we heard it was family friendly. My daughter who was 3 years old at the time had a huge fear of the dentist, we had even been asked to leave our last practice due to her hysterical crying. Today she had to have a tooth removed as it was causing problems for her big tooth. While she was brave it would not have been possible using local anaesthetic without the fantastic work from Nigel and the rest of the team. Thank you Seaham Smiles!
